Frequently Asked Questions

Who’s this workshop for?

We are aiming this workshop at photographers that…

  • Already own (and operate) a DSLR camera
  • Possess basic photographic skills (exposure, composition)
  • Want to do their own quality, efficient digital production
  • Need clear explanations to advance to the next level.

Come to class “ready and willing”. Leave class being “able”.

What will it be like?

Each workshop is limited to about 24 participants, so a high degree of interaction is expected. Expect a personable, casual atmosphere in an environment of like minded individuals. Learning like this is fun!

You will learn the mainstream “bread and butter” ways of using the digital realm to get from a concept in your mind to the finished work that you intended.

What if I need follow-up?

Bob Kulon, the instructor, provides extended services to move you deeper into your digital photography quest.

  • He frequently mentors individuals using programs tailored to suit personal developmental needs.
  • Bob also respond to emails to clear up minor questions.

Further information can be found at Bob's website: www.bobkulonphoto.com

I attended Boot Camp and need a refresher. Contact us. Space permitting, we will allow you to audit (sit in) on a session for a discounted alumni price of $25 per 3-1/2 hour session. Updated handouts are not furnished, but you will be given access to the newer online resources.
What is the Forum for?

The Forum is an online discussion area allowing in-depth conversation relating to the DSLR Boot Camps.

  • The Administrate Forums contain announcements. Anyone can read these, but posting is not permitted.
  • The Public Forums are accessible to the general public to read. Those that register as Forum participants can also post messages.
  • The Private Forums are reserved for attendees of the DSLR Boot Camps. You must be registered as a Forum Participant as well as have special privileges granted by administrators. This is a great place to keep up with acquaintances, discuss logistics, get aftercare support, provide feedback, and get things cleared up.

The Forums are located at: www.dslrbootcamp.com/phpBB

Do you accept credit cards? It is possible to send you a one-time PayPal invoice for the full amount of the workshop. A slight surcharge will apply. Contact us.
Will you present the DSLR Boot Camp to private groups? We will work with photo societies, camera clubs, tour companies, and public entities to present the entire Boot Camp curriculum or individual modules. These events can be booked at your facility, a third-party conference center, or in a field location. Contact us to discuss this further and make customized arrangements.
Do you offer any discounts? Look carefully at the listings for each event. We generally run special offers for early registrants or small groups. Additionally, follow-up clinics are greatly discounted for DSLR Boot Camp Alumni. This is all identified in the descriptions.
What are the Online Resources for?

Once the workshop is underway, you will be given private access to online resources especially structured to support your specific class experience. Past attendees think this is an exceptional bonus. All resources are available to to you, any time, anywhere in the world.
